What Happens After You Place an Order

When your order is placed on the web site, you will see a "Thank You" page, which will have an online order confirmation number on it. This is confirmation that your order has successfully been placed. Your order is then sent over a secure connection to 1-800-FLOWERS.COM. You will also receive an email confirmation once your order has been received at 1-800-FLOWERS.COM. If there are any problems with your order, one of our customer service associates will contact you by phone or e-mail.


Order and Delivery E-Mail Confirmations

After your order is submitted, you will receive a series of e-mails with status of your order.

  1. Florist Delivery

    For items delivered by a Florist, you will receive 1) An Order Confirmation e-mail within one hour of your order, informing you that your order has been received, and 2) A Delivery Confirmation e-mail informing you that your gift has been delivered.


  2. Delivery by a Parcel Carrier

    For items delivered by a Carrier such as UPS, FedEx, or the United States Postal Service, you will receive 1) An Order Confirmation e-mail within one hour of your order, informing you that your order has been received, 2) A Shipping Confirmation e-mail informing you that your gift has been shipping, and 3) A Delivery Confirmation e-mail informing you that your item has been received.
Be sure to enter a valid e-mail address when you provide your Billing Information to ensure that you receive these confirmations.

If you do not receive this message within one hour of placing your order, there might be a delay on the Web due to traffic. If this happens, please feel free to contact us at 1-800-716-4851 to ensure that your order is being processed.

Changing an Order

If your order has already been sent out or shipped for delivery we will be unable to change it.


Cancelling an Order

If your order is presently en route, has already been shipped or is delivered, we are unable to cancel it.
